Wow-2022 has been a whirlwind. From introducing new services, developing new business tools, and winning an award, we’ve had a busy year at Interparcel.
Let’s look back at our 2022 highlights…
New couriers
In 2022, we introduced several new couriers including DHL, ECMS Express, Haulable, and Spring Global.
DHL offers popular Next Day, Timed and Saturday services across the UK. Their collection and drop-off shipping options mean you can make parcel-sending work for you.
Haulable is our latest pallet courier to join our team of reputable delivery partners. Founded in 2020, Haulable specialises in transporting heavy or large items unsuitable for standard delivery.
Of course, ECMS Express and Spring Global are two international parcel delivery companies, offering cost-effective delivery services worldwide.
Expanded existing services
We also expanded some of our existing APC Streetwise and Tuffnells services such as APC MailPack and Tuffnells By 9:30.
New shipping tools
We are continuously streamlining the delivery process which is why we created new shipping tools and account features.
Bulk shipping
Bulk rates are global parcel delivery services aimed at senders shipping multiple small packets internationally. Enabling bulk services means you can book several orders and consolidate them into one bigger shipping box at a lower cost. You must enable international Bulk shipping rates in your Interparcel Account to view available bulk services when quoting international parcels. Don't worry, it only takes a few steps to get started!
Upload orders to the Shipping Manager with a CSV file
If you don’t sell on an eCommerce platform but have multiple orders to fulfil from your website or over the phone, the CSV upload feature provides a quick and accurate way of processing orders. You can upload 10,000 orders in less time than manually booking one!
Link multiple stores within an eCommerce platform
If you run multiple Amazon, eBay, Shopify and WooCommerce stores, you can now link all the stores with your one Interparcel account via Shipping Manager. It only takes a few minutes to connect a store and simplifies sending multiple orders.
The Interparcel Print Manager™
Printing off address labels and shipping documents is a breeze with the Interparcel Print Manager™ plugin. You can install the printing plugin to your Debian, Mac, Red Hat or Windows system following our step-by-step video.
Enable Live Shipping Rates
Our Cart Quoting feature enables your online buyers to see real-time shipping costs at checkout based on the type of service selected. It’s available to set up if you operate a Shopify or WooCommerce store.
New Zen Cart integration
Connecting your Zen Cart store with our Shipping Manager allows you to quickly import and manage orders in one convenient platform. All you have to do is download the Zen Cart plugin and follow the simple connection guide.
Winners of the Gatwick Diamond Business Flexible Working Award
Back in March, Interparcel won the Award for Business Best Adapted to Flexible Working!
The Award identified and celebrated businesses that made efforts to develop flexible working within their business and implemented staff training to create a healthy work-life balance.
We were also shortlisted as finalists for The Award for Customer Delight, Employer of the Year, and the Award for Business Resilience & Transformation.
New Shopify App
The Interparcel UK Shopify app is free to download from the Shopify app store and contains useful features to help increase revenue, reduce delivery costs and grow your Shopify business. You can also manage other purchases from eCommerce platforms within your Interparcel Shipping Manager.
Brand-new videos
Alongside our exciting features, we created simple step-by-step videos and tutorials to demonstrate how easy they are to set up and use. Videos include eCommerce integrations, Branded Tracking and the Print Manager. All our videos are available to view on our website or our YouTube channel.
Interparcel lorries hit the road
Last August, our branded fleet of Interparcel lorries hit the road. Travelling across the country, our lorries were designed to spread the word about our low-cost courier services. As well as reminding everyone to save money, save time and send online!
Competitions & Promotions
We frequently run online competitions and promotions for all our customers and 2022 was no exception. From scrumptious chocolate hampers to fun gift experiences, there were many fabulous prizes to be won.
Together with competitions, we also ran various promotions including Cyber weekend deals and introductory courier discounts. Our current 12 Days of Christmas promotion finishes this week, so make sure you grab some last-minute voucher codes before it’s too late!
New service pages
As part of continuous website improvements, we launched several new domestic and international courier service landing pages. Pages include Same Day Delivery, Pallet Delivery and No Printer Delivery. If you have a question or two that needs answering, our pages should help to explain the different types of services we offer and the benefits of booking with Interparcel.

New members joined the ‘paw’cel team
Our office is never complete without a pooch or two strolling around!
Last year, new pups Lady, Max and Oscar joined the four-legged ‘paw’cel team.
If you don’t spot Lady straight away, you will certainly hear the sound of her paws racing around the office. Her pal Max, whilst a bit shyer, equally enjoys the attention from everyone. Lastly, Oscar brings bundles of energy and loves to play with his canine pals.
