We recently expanded our APC Streetwise offering to national coverage across the UK. The APC Mail Pack and APC Courier Pack UK Next Day services are ideal for sending documents, clothing or other soft items. Your goods will need to be placed into an APC bag which the delivery driver will bring upon collection. This blog aims to provide some tips on preparing and sending your parcel using an APC pack.

Key points to consider when sending a parcel using an APC Pack
Have your item prepared for collection
Your item needs to be prepared for when the driver arrives with the APC bag i.e. wrapped in protective materials and/or boxed in cardboard. If you're sending clothing such as a pair of jeans you could wrap them in layers of bubble wrap for cushioning before placing in the mailing bag.
Do not overfill the bag
Any parcels that are bigger in size, shape or packaging will be deemed non-conveyable and might incur additional fees.
Packs must be sealed
Items must be able to fit into the APC pack comfortably, with no tears or damage to the bag.
Pack is not a substitute for external packaging
Additional packaging may be required for some items. Always ensure that the contents are adequately wrapped for transit using cushioning materials like bubble wrap. Small items should also be placed inside a cardboard box within the pack.
Not suitable for fragile or heavy items
APC Mail Packs and Courier Packs are designed for small, non-fragile items. Therefore, please consider another courier service if you wish to send a large or valuable item.
Clearly label the pack
Make sure you clearly apply the label in the box provided on the Mail Pack or Courier Pack. Creased barcodes will not be recognised by APC's system which can cause delays to delivery.
