If you prefer sending on the go, Drop Off might be the shipping option for you. Drop Off services are convenient for those with lower volumes of parcels to send. It's not always convenient to wait at the house for courier collection, and often, drop off services are cheaper too!

Many of our carriers like Evri, DPD and UPS offer reliable Drop Off services within the UK and abroad. There are thousands of drop-off points located across the UK, situated in local convenience stores and post offices, so you can work parcel-sending around your schedule.

What is a Drop Off service?

A drop-off delivery service involves the sender taking their parcel to a nearby drop-off point or locker. The courier will later collect and deliver it to the chosen recipient. Drop-off services mean that instead of waiting at home for courier collection, the sender can take their parcel out and drop it off at a time that suits them.

What are the benefits of booking a Drop Off service?

It's low cost

You can book a drop-off delivery service from £1.75 ex VAT. Drop-off services are often cheaper than collection because you're not paying for a courier to come out and collect from your address. Your delivery still comes fully tracked.

Flexible around your schedule

You don't have to wait at home for your parcel to be collected. Instead, you can send your package on your way to work, on the school run or whilst travelling to the train station. More timed options available

If your shipment is very urgent, you can book our Timed and Special services, offering fast overnight delivery in the evenings and over the weekend. Thousands of Drop Off points are open extended hours, allowing you to fit shipping around your schedule.

How do I find my nearest Drop Off point?

To find your nearest Drop Off location, use our Drop Off locator tool found in the drop-down menu of the 'Help' section on our website. Enter your postcode and within seconds, we will display your nearby shops and stations. You can also filter your results by courier if you prefer.

Click on a drop-off point to see the full name, address, opening hours, and directions via car, public transport, or on foot.

How do I drop my parcel off?

It's so simple to use a Drop Off shipping service. Here's how you do it:

1. Enter your parcel's weight and dimensions into our quote tool and book your preferred Drop Off service.

2. Print your shipping label off and attach to your parcel. If you have selected the 'Print In Store' option during the booking stage, you will do this in store.

3. You can drop off your parcel at any drop off point available for your selected courier service.

4. Hand your package over to the store assistant to scan and process.

What UK Drop Off services do we offer?

We offer a variety of low-cost economy, next day and timed UK services. Below are a few examples:

Evri ParcelShop Postable

Perfect for parcels up to 1kg, drop your package off at one of over 10,000 local convenience stores or lockers. Suitable for smaller parcels or packets that can be posted through the recipient's letterbox. Send from £1.75 ex VAT.

Yodel Direct

Yodel's affordable, non-urgent parcel delivery service starts from £2.25 ex VAT. Choose from over 10,000 Yodel Direct drop off points across the country and print your delivery label in store.

DPD UK Next Day Drop Off

DPD offer a speedy and reliable express Drop Off service. Transit times begin once your parcel has been collected from the store. Send from £7.10 ex VAT.

What international Drop off services do we offer?

If you wish to ship a parcel worldwide, below are just some of the European and worldwide drop off services we offer:

Landmark Global Economy Drop Off

This service can ship your parcel in 5-16 working days for delivery to Europe. Utilising local Evri ParcelShops, this service is collected by Evri, where it is then forwarded to Landmark Global for delivery. Ship from £8.80.

Parcelforce Global Priority Drop Off

Parcelforce offers trusted worldwide parcel delivery for packages up to 30kg. Ship from £20.25. You'll need to drop your parcel off at a local Post Office or Parcelforce depot.

UPS Standard Drop Off

For less urgent shipments, UPS offers a low-cost delivery service to Europe. Drop your parcel off at a local UPS Accesspoint across the UK for delivery in 2-8 working days. Ship from £18.05.

It's important to check if the item you wish to send is listed as Prohibited or Restricted before booking with us. You can filter the list by courier and destination country. Prohibited items must NOT be sent through our services and no transit cover or guarantees apply to Restricted items.

Do you offer a Drop Off service for pallets?

Due to pallets' large and heavy nature, they can only be delivered via our pallet collection delivery services. Goods must fit on a standard pallet and be shrink-wrapped before collection. Palletways and Palletforce offer reliable pallet delivery across the UK and you can get an instant quote for your pallet using our online quote tool.

Do Drop Off services require a printer?

You can tick the 'Print In Store' option during the booking stage if you don't have a printer at home. Our Print In Store option allows you to print a label in the store, free of charge, for UK deliveries.

When you book a printer-free service through Interparcel, we will email you a QR code for your shipping label, which you'll need to scan or type in-store.

Please note: Our printer-free drop off services are only available for UK domestic deliveries as international shipments require a Customs Invoice that must be printed off and attached to the parcel prior to collection.

Can I switch my order from Collection to Drop Off?

If you have booked a collection service with us, but you're not going to be home, you may be eligible to switch to a Drop Off service. Drop Off services are aimed at smaller, lighter parcels, so it's not always possible to swap to a drop-off service if the parcel's weight and dimensions exceed the maximum dimensions and weight specified by the courier.

Do I still require transit cover for Drop Off services?

Yes, we recommend you purchase additional transit cover if your item value exceeds the value of the free transit cover.

Please bear in mind the value of your goods when booking a service through us, as we can only compensate for the value of transit cover purchased at the time of booking.
