Use Suitable Packaging
Use a strong rectangular cardboard box that is appropriate for the parcel's weight and contents. Avoid cylindrical tubes, loose wrapping and protruding items.
Accurate parcel and customs information can help prevent unexpected charges, returns and border delays. The guidance below explains common circumstances that may cause problems with a Landmark Global shipment and how you can help prevent them.
Weigh the fully packaged parcel, measure every side, use suitable packaging and check the recipient and customs details before booking. Always follow the restrictions displayed for the selected Landmark Global service and destination.

These are examples of common courier surcharge situations. The charge
and whether it applies will depend on the selected service, shipment
details, destination and current Landmark Global terms.
Please note:
Courier requirements and charges can change. Additional charges or
restrictions not listed on this page may also apply.
Customs duties and taxes may also apply unless a DDP service is selected.
A few simple packaging and customs checks can help prevent delays, returns and additional charges.
Use a strong rectangular cardboard box that is appropriate for the parcel's weight and contents. Avoid cylindrical tubes, loose wrapping and protruding items.
Use clear and specific contents descriptions, accurate values and the correct HS codes. Ensure any commercial invoice exactly matches the information entered during booking.
Landmark Global services are international, so complete every customs field accurately during the booking process. Interparcel guides you through creating the required commercial invoice and electronic customs data.
If you include your own commercial invoice, the contents, descriptions, declared values, HS codes, country of origin and shipping costs must exactly match the information entered on the Interparcel website. Attach all labels and documents supplied with the booking.
Import duties and taxes may be payable by the receiver or sender unless a DDP service has been selected. If customs charges are billed to Interparcel, the original sender will be responsible for paying them. Please see Section 12 of our Terms of Use and check our Prohibited and Restricted Items before sending.
