UPS DDP Services Now Available With Interparcel

29th April 2026, 1:01pm in Services

More choice for hassle-free international shipping

We’re excited to expand our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) offering, with UPS international services now available alongside FedEx Express.

This gives you even more choice when sending parcels overseas, while keeping the same, all inclusive pricing that makes DDP such a popular options.

With DDP, every duty, tax and customs fee is handled upfront at the time of booking. That means no unexpected costs, no delays in delivery, and a much smoother experience for both sender and recipient.

What UPS services can I use DDP on?

Our DDP solution is now available across all UPS and FedEx international services.

This added flexibility means you can choose the courier that best suits your delivery speed, destination or budget, without giving up the benefits of fully covered customs charges.

We're continuing to roll DDP out across more services, so keep an eye out for more options in the future.

What is Interparcel DDP

Interparcel's DDP solution can be selected at checkout and ensures that all customs-related costs are paid before your parcel is shipped.

Instead of the receiver being liable for payment on arrival, everything is settled in advance. This helps avoid delays, refused deliveries and unexpected charges.

It's a more reliable way to send internationally, especially when shipping to customers, friends or family who you don't want to burden with additional fees.

The Interparcel DDP Guarantee

When you choose DDP with Interparcel, the price you see at checkout is the final amount you’ll pay. There are no follow-up invoices, no hidden extras, and no surprise charges later in the process - for either you or your recipient.

Because of our strong partnerships with leading couriers like UPS and FedEx, we’re able to offer competitive DDP rates while still giving you full protection against additional customs costs.

How do I add DDP to my order?

Review the available services and select the one you wish to book.

Services that support DDP will display “Prepay Duty & Taxes” underneath the service name.

Step 6: Finalise Your Booking

Proceed to checkout, complete your payment, and your order will be confirmed.

DDP vs DDU

The key difference between Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) comes down to who covers the customs charges. With DDP, the sender pays all duties, taxes and fees upfront at checkout, so the parcel is delivered without any additional payments required. With DDU, those charges are not included, meaning the recipient is contacted to pay before delivery can be completed. DDP offers a smoother, more predictable experience, while DDU can lead to delays, unexpected costs, or even refused deliveries.
