Last September we reported that Fedex Express and TNT Express were joining forces, combining the air express network of Fedex Express and the European road network of TNT Express. We are pleased to update you that Fedex and TNT are still making steady progress to integrate to offer a stronger service and build on the strengths of both companies under the one brand.
Fedex are set to fully absorb TNT in 2021 to offer one fully-trained courier for your shipping needs with a streamlined pickup and delivery operation.
The process started in 2016 with the aim to expand their services, offering improved coverage, better connectivity globally and more delivery solutions, reshaping the face of global delivery and industry logistics.
How will this integration affect me?
Access to an unparalleled network – Fedex serves more than 220 countries and territories through 375 airports worldwide, and is combining with the TNT road network which connects over 45 countries in Europe.
Optimised for all packages– With expertise in parcels and packages, and with excellent regional air and road connections, Fedex are optimised for deliveries whether large or small.
Will there be an impact on Fedex or TNT services during the merger?
No services will be affected during the integration. Currently there are no changes to the services being offered by either company, and as the integration progresses the services will evolve behind the scenes and emerge under the Fedex name.
