Following developments regarding the recent COVID-19 outbreak, delivery networks have been experiencing delays to a number of destinations. Actions taken by countries to lockdown borders and reduce movement of people is set to affect transit times and delivery options. Our latest updates are outlined below.
Public Health England (PHE) have advised that people receiving parcels and packages are not at risk of contracting Covid-19, in fact it is safer to stay at home and accept a delivery rather than visit the shops. With this in mind all of our couriers are prioritising the health and welfare of both staff and customers by taking sensible precautions to reduce the spread of Covid-19 whilst minimising service disruptions. Depots are reducing the amount of non essential staff by encouraging working from home where possible. Shifts are being staggered to reduce contact between staff and regular, thorough cleaning is taking place in depots and on vehicles.
To further reduce the spread of Covid-19 and minimise contact between drivers and customers all of our delivery services no longer require a signature upon delivery. The drivers will confirm the recipients identity and will sign the parcel as delivered on their behalf.

Due to Brexit there are some changes to how we ship to Europe this has led to delays at Customs checkpoints in Europe. Thank you for your patience as we navigate through these unprecedented times.
Parcelforce are experiencing significant delays to all European destinations. This is due to customs and unfortunately outside of our control.
As the UK prepares to enter the second lockdown, please check that businesses are open and accepting deliveries before booking to avoid returns or delays.
Currently there are no major disruptions or delays to standard UK deliveries.
To further reduce the spread of Covid-19 and minimise contact between drivers and customers all of our UK delivery services no longer require a signature upon delivery. The drivers will confirm the recipients identity and will sign the parcel as delivered on their behalf.
DPD in order to maintain their high service levels DPD are temporarily removing the by 10.30 and by 12pm UK delivery options. All other DPD services are available.
Hermes have suspended their signature option on all deliveries as all shipments are being delivered contact free until further notice.
UPS have suspended their money back guarantee on all services, whilst UPS will endeavour to deliver all packages on the appropriate working day there is no longer a refund for any late deliveries. UPS have also relaxed their timed delivery windows:
