As an online parcel comparison and booking website, we’ve teamed with some of the best parcel delivery companies in the world.

In the upcoming months, we will run through all the courier companies we work with and identify each carrier’s benefits and delivery rates. Let’s start with our first five: APC, CitySprint, DHL, DPD and DPD Local!

APC – UK Next Day parcel delivery

APC Overnight specialise in reliable overnight delivery across the UK. They offer Next Day delivery collection options to send important documents, items, and liquids.

APC Mail Pack and APC Courier Pack are ideal for sending time-sensitive documents or small, sturdy items. The driver will bring an A4 or A3 recyclable APC packet upon collection.

The APC Liquid services are designed for sending liquids like beer or wine. Consignments are handled by specially trained staff and held in separate cages to avoid spillage.

CitySprint – UK Same Day parcel delivery

CitySprint is a leading same-day courier offering fast Same Day courier services - ideal for last-minute delivery requests or critical documents. CitySprint operates a range of fleets, including motorcycles, small vans, transit vans and long-wheelbase vehicles to fit all sizes of parcels.

Once booked, a CitySprint driver will collect your parcel from your chosen UK address and deliver it on the same working day.

DHL – UK Next Day and Weekend parcel delivery

DHL offers collection and drop-off domestic services, catering to Next Day, Timed and Saturday parcel delivery.

DHL drivers can pick up your shipment from your preferred home or work address, or you can drop your parcel off at one of the 3,500 DHL Service Points. DHL also offers services to Northern Ireland and Highland & Islands, depending on the postcode.

DPD – UK Next Day and International Express parcel delivery

DPD, part of Geopost (formerly DPDgroup), offer fast and reliable domestic and international courier services. Their DPD UK Sunday Drop-Off service is ideal for last-minute gifts. You can drop your parcel at a DPD Drop Off point on a Friday by 11 am for delivery on Sunday.

DPD also offers international courier services for various parcel sizes and weights.

DPD Local – UK Next Day parcel delivery

DPD Local is also part of Geopost and offers fast, local delivery services across the UK. They are also committed to providing a carbon-neutral service and operate an all-electric parcel delivery fleet. DPD Local Timed Next Day delivery services are perfect for urgent shipments.

DPD and DPD Local are excellent delivery companies. However, DPD Local is better suited for quick UK collection services, and DPD is a better choice for drop-off or international parcel services.
