How to start using our free email notifications
To start using our notification tool, all you need to do is follow our booking process as normal; after you fill out the address and parcel information, you will see the notification options. Simply add in the receiver's email address (or yours if you prefer) and then select which notifications you would like to generate. You can choose how many of these notifications you wish to receive, so if you only want to know when your package is 'Out For Delivery,' you can only select this update.
Currently, we have four email notifications available:
- Booked: as soon as you have created the order, we will let the receiver know the parcel has been booked
- On Its Way: once the parcel has a scan to show that it has been dropped off or collected, we will let the receiver know their package is in transit
- Out For Delivery: once the parcel is scanned as 'out for delivery' with a driver, we will email the receiver to let them know delivery will be today
- Delivered: when the parcel has a 'delivered' scan, we will email the receiver to let them know. This would be helpful if the receiver is not home at the time of delivery and it has been left with a neighbour
You also have the option to receive our SMS updates on your parcel's whereabouts; these are charged at 20p (plus VAT) per message. You can use these in combination with the free email notifications.
Be sure to add the correct email address and check the spelling as we cannot amend or change this after you have completed the booking.
