We have recently added the APC Liquid Saturday courier service, designed for sending liquids for weekend delivery. The collection is scheduled on a Friday for delivery Saturday within the UK.

What is unique about the Liquid service?

Unlike standard courier services that use automated machinery, packages sent on an APC Streetwise Liquid service are sorted by hand. Packages are segregated into separate cages and handled by fully-trained APC staff to maximise protection.

You can send a maximum of 20 liquid items per shipment. Ideal if you have a last-minute customer order to fulfil.

How do I pack liquids for shipping?

Extra attention is required when packaging liquids for delivery. Key things to remember are:

• Choose a strong, appropriately-sized cardboard box
• Ensure the goods are securely closed, sealed in polythene bags and protected with cushioning material
• Use foam or cardboard dividers to separate multiple items and fill any space with protective material
• Securely tape the parcel with strong packaging tape
