Missed Collection Or Delivery
|
This charge may apply if no one is available when the driver attends the collection or delivery address. Once an order has been booked, DX will try to call the collection point to obtain verbal confirmation that someone will be available. If there is no answer, the collection will not be attempted and the customer will need to contact Interparcel to rearrange it. |

Cylindrical Items
|
Cylindrical items are charged differently and may incur heavy-item surcharges based on their calculated volumetric weight. 3.142 × length × width × height ÷ 5000For example, a cylindrical parcel weighing 10kg and measuring 300cm × 30cm × 30cm would have a volumetric weight of approximately 170kg. |

Check Cylindrical Items Carefully
Cylindrical items use a different volumetric-weight calculation. Enter all measurements accurately, as the calculated weight may be much higher than the item's physical weight.
Customs information for international freight
When placing an international order, complete all customs information accurately during the booking process.
If you include your own commercial invoice, the contents, descriptions, declared values and shipping costs must exactly match the information entered on the Interparcel website. Any discrepancies could result in delays or additional charges from customs authorities.
If customs charges are billed to Interparcel, the original parcel sender will be responsible for paying them.
