CitySprint Surcharges

Please ensure you read what size vehicle you are booking. If the driver arrives and your item/s are too large to fit in the vehicle, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

No one likes to receive an unexpected surcharge, this is why it is so important to be accurate when weighing and measuring your parcel. If correct details are entered at the time of booking you shouldn’t receive any unexpected charges as this is already calculated into the price. It is also important to look at your packaging as this can sometimes incur extra charges.

Waiting Times

Please note that the surcharge figures listed below are minimum rates, and are subject to change per order.

Bike and Small Van - Free waiting time for the first 9 minutes, 59 seconds. Should waiting time exceed this time, the customer will be charged £0.50 per minute for the entire waiting time (not just the time exceeeding 9 minutes, 59 minutes).

Transit and LWB Vans - Free waiting time for the first 14 minutes, 59 seconds. Should waiting time exceed this time, the customer will be charged £0.50 per minute for the entire waiting time (not just the time exceeding 14 minutes, 59 seconds).

If the delivery or collection addresses are not complete, and the driver has to make contact with the collection or delivery address (which causes waiting time), then a surcharge could be levied.

Packaging

If a shipment has been packaged with voids in the parcel and there is room for the items inside to move around, this could incur additional charges if the parcel is top heavy and falls off the conveyor
