Zippd Surcharges

Please check what size vehicle you are booking. If the driver arrives and your item/s are too large to fit in the vehicle, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

No one likes to receive an unexpected surcharge, this is why it is so important to be accurate when weighing and measuring your parcel. If correct details are entered at the time of booking you shouldn’t receive any unexpected charges as this is already calculated into the price. It is also important to look at your packaging as this can sometimes incur extra charges.

Waiting Times

Please note that the surcharge figures listed below are minimum rates, and are subject to change per order. These apply after 30 minutes of waiting

Car - After 30 minutes of waiting, a minimum surcharge of £15p/h will apply.

Small Van and Short Wheel Base - After 30 minutes of waiting, a minimum surcharge of £16p/h will apply.

Long Wheel Base and Extra Long Wheel Base - After 30 minutes of waiting, a minimum surcharge of £16p/h will apply. If it is a two-person collection then a minimum surcharge of £25p/h will apply.

Luton - After 30 minutes of waiting, a minimum surcharge of £20p/h will apply. If it is a two-person collection then a minimum surcharge of £30p/h will apply.

Access Restrictions

Pallet services use larger than normal vehicles, that can be up to 18 tonnes in weight. If you have any known access issues local to the collection or delivery address, then you must notify us in advance so that we can inform the courier directly. Please note that there may be additional charges levied if a smaller vehicle is required or if we are not notified in advance of access restrictions that could delay the delivery / collection, or make it unachieveable.

Cancellation Charges

If you cancel an order the day before a collection is due, no charges will apply and you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel an order the day of collection, charges may apply at a minimum of 25% of the price originally quoted for the order.

If the cancel an order upon collection, when the driver is on site, you will be charged for the order at the full quoted price and no refund will apply.

Packaging

If a shipment has been packaged with voids in the parcel and there is room for the items inside to move around, this could incur additional charges if the parcel is top heavy and falls off the conveyor

Customs

If you're placing an international order, please ensure you complete the customs information accurately during the booking process.

If you choose to include your own invoice, all details , including contents, declared values, and shipping costs , must exactly match the information entered on our site.

Any discrepancies may result in delays or additional charges imposed by customs authorities.
