Use Suitable Outer Packaging
Choose strong outer packaging that is suitable for the size, weight and contents of the shipment and can withstand normal transit handling.
Avoid unexpected delivery charges by checking your parcel's weight, dimensions, packaging and address details carefully before booking. If the information you enter is accurate, applicable standard charges will already be included in the price shown.
Weigh your parcel accurately, measure every side, use suitable packaging and check the collection details before completing your booking. A surcharge may be applied if the parcel details are incorrect, the driver cannot collect the parcel or the packaging requires additional handling.
The table below explains the most common DX surcharge, when it may be applied and the charge involved.
| Surcharge | When it may apply | Minimum charge (ex. VAT) |

Nothing To Collect

This charge applies if the collection driver attends but no one is available to hand over the parcel or there is nothing to collect. Another collection attempt will not be made and the order will need to be rebooked. If the order is then cancelled, any additional transit cover purchased will be refunded. |
