DPD Local Surcharges
No one likes to receive an unexpected surcharge, this is why it is so important to be accurate when weighing and measuring your parcel. If correct details are entered at the time of booking you shouldn’t receive any unexpected charges as this is already calculated into the price. It is also important to look at your packaging as this can sometimes incur extra charges.
Nothing To Collect
If you are not in and miss the collection driver there will be a minimum surcharge of £7. If you then wish to cancel the order, you will be refunded down to the Nothing To Collect charge
Non Coms Handling
Minimum surcharge of £6 per parcel
This is for parcels which are incompatible with DPD's automated sortation equipment. This is usually down to the packaging. Please ensure that parcels do not have excessive tape or are covered in cling wrap.
Items must be in a box.
Oversized / Overweight
Minimum surcharge of £23.50 per parcel for UK parcels exceeding the maximum weights and dimensions stated in our terms and conditions.
Maximum weight - 30kg
Maximum length - 100cm
Maximum girth - 230
Packaging
If a shipment has been packaged with voids in the parcel and there is room for the items inside to move around, this could incur additional charges if the parcel is top heavy and falls off the conveyor
